The Carrollton Police Foundation is proud to participate in Georgia's LESS Crime Act (O.C.G.A. § 48-7-29.25), which allows Georgia taxpayers to receive a state income tax credit for contributions made to qualified law enforcement foundations. Your contribution directly supports the officers of the Carrollton Police Department by helping fund specialized training, equipment purchases, and officer recognition and bonus programs that strengthen public safety in our community.

The program is currently open for enrollment for the 2026 tax year. Eligible taxpayers may receive a dollar-for-dollar Georgia state income tax credit of up to $5,000 for single filers or heads of household, $10,000 for married couples filing jointly, and $10,000 for qualifying LLC members, S-Corporation shareholders, or partnership members. Corporations may qualify for a credit of up to 75% of their Georgia income tax liability.
