The Carrollton Police Foundation, 501(c)(3), exists to support the men and women of the Carrollton Police Department and their families. Through funding for specialized training, equipment, wellness, and family assistance, the Foundation provides resources beyond the city budget to strengthen and sustain those who serve. Supporting the Carrollton Police Foundation is about standing with our officers—dedicated professionals who protect and serve the City of Carrollton every day. Through the Law Enforcement Strategic Support (LESS) Crime Act, Georgia businesses and taxpayers have the opportunity to direct a portion of their state income taxes to approved law enforcement foundations, including the Carrollton Police Foundation Inc..
This valuable dollar-for-dollar tax credit allows individual filers to contribute up to $5,000, married couples filing jointly up to $10,000, Subchapter S corporations and partnerships up to $10,000, and eligible C corporations up to 75% of their Georgia income tax liability, with a maximum contribution of $3 million.
